In a dark, dark cellar lived some skeletons...

This week the children learned all about self-care and body parts.

We started off the week by looking at a mouth/tooth model and practising brushing the teeth; the children used mirrors to look into their own mouths and learnt the importance of brushing twice a day.

Another fun activity we did  this week was to draw around each other then, using word cards label the body parts.

We have been reading some of the funny bones stories and this inspired us to make some skeleton art using cotton buds.

As we have been learning about looking after our teeth,  we thought it would be fun to try some foods that do not require teeth; we tasted some baby food!

Here are some more photos of the week's fun and learning.
